Every piece embodies slow fashion—rooted in heritage, made to last, and mindful of its footprint.

Each garment is wearable art. The Sonder Sheer Shirt alone takes 22 hours of cutting, stitching, embroidery, and finishing. Patience and precision turn cloth into heirloom. Every Lafaani piece is 100% biodegradable with an average footprint of just 1.95 kg CO₂. No plastics, no metals—only earth-friendly materials. Our local supply chain reduces emissions, and each purchase is paired with positive climate action.
Lafaani directly employ 4 artisans and 3 collaborators—providing fair wages, annual bonuses, and structured raises beyond statutory norms. Embroiderers can work from home, balancing household roles with financial independence. Partnerships with women-led organizations like Karghewale and Yali ensure ethical sourcing and gender equity.
Lafaani’s New Delhi workshop runs humane hours with breaks and flexibility. Work-life balance is a right, not a privilege.
Every scrap is reborn—upcycled into accessories or repair kits. Lafaani’s designs are zero-waste by intent, and each garment can return to the earth at the end of its life.
Lafaani has also joined forces with Remake, Fashion Revolution, and others to foster dialogue on conscious consumption. From seed to sleeve, Lafaani invites consumers to rethink fashion’s impact and embrace timeless design.
